Art One Academy is hiring Art Instructors for our new locations.
Art One Academy is a fine art school for children, teens, and adults. We are expanding and looking for several talented, reliable, and enthusiastic art instructors to join our team and teach our structured Art One programs at our new locations.

About the Role
As an Art Instructor, you will teach students using Art One Academy’s curriculum and classroom standards. Our programs include drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, art history, portfolio preparation, seasonal workshops, birthday parties, PA day programs, and summer camps.
You will be responsible for creating a positive, inspiring, and well-organized classroom environment where students can build strong artistic foundations and confidence.
Responsibilities
- Teach art classes to children, teens, and/or adults
- Follow Art One Academy’s curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching standards
- Prepare materials and classroom space before each class
- Support students with different skill levels and learning styles
- Encourage creativity while teaching proper art techniques
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and the studio team
- Assist with workshops, camps, birthday parties, and special events when needed
- Participate in training before starting at the location
Qualifications
- Strong drawing and painting skills
- Experience working with children or teens
- Art education, fine arts, illustration, design, animation, or related background preferred
- Ability to teach in a kind, patient, and structured way
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Reliable, organized, and professional
- Comfortable following an established curriculum and studio system
- Weekend and evening availability is an asset
Preferred Experience
- Teaching art classes or workshops
- Working in an art school, studio, camp, or educational environment
- Experience with acrylic, watercolour, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, or portfolio preparation
- Ability to teach younger children is a strong asset
Schedule
Part-time positions available.Evening and weekend availability is preferred.Additional hours may be available during summer camps, PA days, workshops, and birthday parties.
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and the type of classes taught.
