Duties
- Perform diagnostic assessments and troubleshoot mechanical issues on vehicles and equipment using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs and modifications
- Assist with the installation of new components, systems, or assemblies following detailed schematics and specifications
- Lift heavy parts or equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols during maintenance or repair tasks
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for quality control purposes
- Support team members with technical guidance on mechanical systems and troubleshooting procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a dealership or automotive repair environment is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive or machinery repair
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics for diagnostics and repairs
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely as part of routine maintenance tasks
- Experience with assembly processes and mechanical installations is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients or team members
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and technical diagrams accurately
