About Sharewares
Sharewares is a Vancouver-based reusable packaging company helping businesses and major events reduce single-use waste. Every week we wash, inspect, package, and deliver thousands of reusable cups and food service items for clients across Metro Vancouver.
Our reusable products support major events, sports venues, festivals, and corporate workplaces throughout the Lower Mainland. As demand continues to grow, we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
We're looking for someone who wants to take ownership of a growing operation. As our Production Team Lead, you'll be responsible for coordinating the daily operation of our wash facility while working alongside the team to ensure products are processed safely, efficiently, and on time.
This is not a desk job. You'll lead by example, solve problems, improve processes, and help create an organized, efficient workplace where the team can succeed.
Our workload varies throughout the year. Quieter periods are focused on facility improvements, warehouse organization, equipment maintenance, and process improvements, while peak seasons require strong coordination and teamwork to meet customer demand.
This position reports directly to the Operations Manager and offers opportunities to take on additional operational responsibilities as the company continues to grow.
What You'll Do
Lead Daily Operations
- Coordinate daily production activities and team workflow.
- Prioritize work to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Keep production moving efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Identify operational issues and resolve them before they impact production.
- Recommend and implement practical improvements to workflows, organization, and production efficiency.
Work Alongside the Team
- Participate in washing, sorting, labeling, packing, quality inspections, and shipping.
- Assist with deliveries and pickups throughout Metro Vancouver using a company vehicle.
- Coordinate and participate in occasional weekend deliveries or pickups when operational requirements require additional support.
- Ensure products are clean, organized, labeled correctly, and ready for customers.
Warehouse Organization
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Ensure products, equipment, and supplies are stored in designated locations.
- Continuously improve warehouse organization to support efficiency, cleanliness, and safe operations.
Quality & Inventory
- Perform and document quality inspections.
- Maintain accurate production, inventory, and rework records.
- Report equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly.
- Help ensure company quality and food safety standards are consistently met.
Team Leadership
- Train and support new employees.
- Lead by example through professionalism, reliability, and accountability.
- Foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive team environment.
- Help the team stay productive while maintaining quality standards.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and helping a team succeed.
