Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, experience with heavy and industrial equipment, and the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of truck and machinery issues. This role involves working on commercial trucks, heavy equipment, and farm machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are maintained across all vehicles and equipment.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on trucks, heavy machinery, and industrial equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance supplies
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery for troubleshooting or repair purposes
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Maintain detailed service records and document repairs accurately
- Assist with assembly or disassembly of large components during repairs or upgrades
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with heavy-duty trucks and industrial equipment
- Dealership experience is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with excavators, cranes, forklifts, HVAC systems, welding, electrical systems, and farm machinery
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems
- Familiarity with automotive repair techniques including engine diagnostics and powertrain repairs
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance machinery
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical wiring, and industrial components
- Prior experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators or cranes is a plus
- Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting with clients or internal teams during repairs

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
