Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, possess strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and be able to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing POS transactions, and ensuring all food safety and food handling standards are met. The Bartender will play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience that encourages repeat business and positive reviews.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Operate POS systems such as Touch Bistro POS for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible alcohol service in accordance with legal requirements
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Follow all food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures to uphold health regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant or food industry settings is preferred, especially in bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and measuring ingredients
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality mindset with a friendly demeanor and strong communication skills
- Must be at least 21 years old (if applicable based on local regulations)
