AZ Driver – Construction Industry

$27–$29/hr | Full-Time Seasonal | 50–55 Hours/Week
Associated Paving & Materials is currently hiring experienced AZ Drivers to join our growing construction team in Burlington, Ontario. This is a full-time seasonal opportunity offering consistent hours, competitive pay, and the chance to work with a respected family-owned company in the paving and construction industry.
Position Details:
- Full-time seasonal position (March to December)
- $27–$29 per hour based on experience
- 50–55 hours per week
- Early morning start times (6:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
- Immediate hiring for qualified candidates
Responsibilities:
- Operate AZ-class vehicles safely and efficiently, including tractor-trailers, tri-axles, and dump trucks
- Transport asphalt, aggregates, gravel, soil, equipment, and other construction materials
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain driver logs and required documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and site personnel
- Follow all MTO regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
- Report vehicle maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned equipment
Qualifications:
- Valid AZ Driver's License
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driver's abstract and driving record
- Construction, paving, aggregate, or dump truck experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge of MTO regulations and safe driving practices
- Ability to work early mornings, long hours, and occasional weekends
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
