Process Color is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Print Production Associate to support our fast-paced wide-format printing and signage operation. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in print production, manufacturing, and visual communications.
This role plays a key role in daily production activities including fulfilling print requirements utilizing some of the most advanced machines in the market. This role contributes directly to delivering high-quality products to our clients on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
Production
- Handle all aspects of wide format print production (vinyl, flatbed, flags, banners, etc.)
- Support other print operators with loading/unloading materials on printers and cutters
- Perform finishing tasks such as trimming, weeding, laminating, mounting, and grommeting when needed
- Package completed jobs for shipping or installation when needed
Quality & Accuracy
- Follow job instructions and work orders carefully to ensure accuracy
- Conduct basic visual quality checks on printed materials
- Flag any issues or inconsistencies to supervisors immediately
Shop Organization & Maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment
- Assist with inventory organization and material storage
- Dispose of waste materials appropriately and support recycling efforts where applicable
Team Support
- Work collaboratively with production team, installers, and customer service teams
- Assist with loading/unloading vehicles for installation teams when required
- Be flexible and willing to support different areas of the operation as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Prior experience in printing, manufacturing, signage, or finishing activities
- English speaking
- Reliable transportation (to get to work)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift materials (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Basic familiarity with tools and equipment is an asset
Work Schedule
- Full-time hours (flexible scheduling based on production needs)
- Potential for additional hours during peak periods
- Evenings and Weekend availability considered an asset
