Experienced Caretaker / Building Manager required for a 54 unit rental Apartment
building on Vancouver's west side.
- Well managed quality building with no deferred maintenance.
- Quality Residents. Professionally managed with office staff to support Caretaker.
- Suite available for live-in Caretaker.
- No Pets
Requirements and general duties:
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Rent collecting, move-ins, move-outs, rent increases, show suites to prospective tenants and complete application to rent forms
- Interaction with property manager on a as required basis
- Arrange and monitor trades and services as required
- Knowledge of Residential Tenancy Act is essential
- Janitorial experience, cleaning of common areas inside and outside
- General minor property repairs such as faucet, p-trap and faucet cartridge replacements, electrical, painting, lawn care and general handyman repairs
- This is a live-on site position however would consider a non resident position.
- Applicant must complete and pass a criminal record check for this position.
- Completion and certification of RMTI course is an asset but not a requirement.
