Field Sheet Metal Supervisor
Our client is looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Technician to join their growing commercial HVAC and sheet metal construction team based in the Edmonton area. This role is focused primarily on out-of-town project work and is ideal for an experienced leader who enjoys managing crews, overseeing installations, and ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supervising field crews and supporting the successful completion of large-scale HVAC installations and renovation projects.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead field crews of approximately 6–8 employees
- Travel to and work on out-of-town commercial and institutional job sites
- Oversee HVAC and sheet metal installations for schools, institutional facilities, and renovation projects
- Coordinate daily site activities and ensure work is completed on schedule
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents
- Perform equipment layouts and installation planning
- Utilize hand and power tools as required on-site
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards
- Complete required safety documentation and reporting

Qualifications
- Journeyperson Sheet Metal certification
- Supervisory or crew lead experience
- Strong blueprint and specification reading skills
- Experience with institutional and commercial HVAC installations
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable traveling and working out of town
