Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Immigration Caseworker to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Review and verify immigration documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal standards
- Conduct thorough research using tools like LexisNexis to gather pertinent case information and verify client data
- Draft legal correspondence, affidavits, and other necessary documentation with precision and clarity
- Manage case files using iManage or similar document management systems, ensuring organized record-keeping
- Interview clients to gather detailed case information, assess eligibility, and clarify documentation requirements
- Perform data entry tasks accurately into case management systems while maintaining confidentiality
- File and organize case materials systematically, adhering to strict filing protocols and deadlines
- Provide exceptional phone etiquette when communicating with clients, attorneys, and government agencies
- Assist in project management tasks related to case deadlines, follow-ups, and reporting
Requirements
- Proven administrative experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent proofreading, writing skills, and legal drafting abilities for preparing accurate documents
- Experience with research tools such as LexisNexis or equivalent legal research platforms
- Familiarity with iManage or similar document management systems is preferred
- Strong interviewing skills to effectively gather information from clients in a professional manner
- Proficiency in data entry, filing, and general clerical tasks within busy office environments
- Knowledge of immigration processes and legal procedures is highly desirable
- Exceptional phone etiquette combined with excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy standards
