Store Manager – Quicken Lube (Keswick, ON)

Quicken Lube is seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Store Manager to lead our Keswick location. This leadership role is responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience while overseeing all aspects of store operations, team development, sales growth, profitability, and service quality.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong automotive background who enjoys coaching a team, building customer relationships, and helping a business grow.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store while ensuring company policies and quality standards are consistently met.
- Open and close the store according to Quicken Lube operating procedures.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate a high-performing service team.
- Conduct employee training, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching.
- Schedule staff to ensure appropriate coverage based on business demands.
- Ensure all technicians maintain required certifications and technical proficiency.
Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming environment for every guest.
- Build long-term customer relationships through honest recommendations and professional communication.
- Accurately identify customer needs and provide updates throughout the service process.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure complete satisfaction.
Sales & Financial Performance
- Drive sales growth through exceptional customer service and preventative maintenance recommendations.
- Monitor key performance indicators, labour efficiency, and profitability.
- Control operating expenses while maintaining high service standards.
- Manage inventory levels, product ordering, and receiving.
Shop Operations
- Assist technicians with oil changes, preventative maintenance services, vehicle inspections, and light repair work as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Ensure all environmental, health, and safety regulations are followed, including proper disposal of used oil and other automotive waste.
- Maintain the appearance of the building and surrounding property.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
- Minimum 3–5 years of automotive industry experience in a dealership, independent repair shop, tire centre, or quick lube environment.
- Previous leadership or management experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop employees.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Valid driver's licence is considered an asset.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely operate shop equipment including oil and grease guns, radiator service equipment, and hand tools.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending, lifting, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and working with arms overhead.

Schedule
- Full-time
- Day shifts
- 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability as required
- On-call and overtime when necessary
Education & Experience
Education
- Secondary School Diploma (preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years in the automotive service industry (required)
- Previous management or supervisory experience (preferred)
