House to Highrise is looking for an experienced Construction Technician to join our team for a full time, permanent role both in residential and commercial work.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Service work including minor woodwork (finishing), painting, drywall repairs, door and hardware installation, lighting changes, minor plumbing repairs, painting etc.
- Must be an experienced general handyman/woman
- Delivery of site supplies and tools as required
- Assist construction team on large projects as needed
- Interior and exterior work conditions
- Must be a self starter with the confidence to work independently and as part of a team
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
This role requires an individual with a minimum of 5 years construction experience. Successful candidate will be extremely well organized, detail oriented and a fast learner. Excellent customer service and time management skills are a must.
Monday to Friday with some on call/overtime as needed.
