Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist to provide services to clients in both in-home and in-clinic settings. This position is part-time or contracted, with the opportunity to move into a full-time role. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for creating therapy goals, providing evidence-based interventions, collaborating with professionals and families, and documenting sessions and meetings. The position also requires attendance at staff meetings and other duties as required by company policy and ACOT standards of practice.
Please note that our clinic is primarily SLPs. The ideal candidate would be someone who is comfortable working with a diverse caseload of individuals with varying speech and language abilities. They are also someone who loves to collaborate, but is confident and comfortable being independent as well! There is opportunity for mentorship within this position, and a deep appreciation for the knowledge brought by an OT from our whole team!
Responsibilities
- Creating occupational therapy goals
- Providing evidence-based occupational therapy services
- Collaborating with other professionals and parents
- Documenting therapy sessions and meetings
- Attending staff meetings
- Other relevant duties in line with company policy and ACOT standards of practice.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with various needs across the lifespan. They are someone who enjoys collaborating with other professionals, but is able to work independently. They are comfortable explaining OT strategies to families and support teams, and utilize a neurodiversity affirming approach. They have a flexible mindset and are willing to grow with our growing company!
