Overview
We are seeking a dedicated On-site ICF Installer, Labourer, and Backup Delivery Driver to join our construction team. This multifaceted role involves installing Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF), assisting with various construction tasks, and providing reliable delivery support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience in construction-related activities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills across multiple trades and contribute to high-quality building projects.
Duties
- Follow detailed instructions from team leader
- Assist with rebar installation, masonry, concrete forming, and ICF Blocks
- Operate light equipment and power tools safely and efficiently
- Work as needed
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for various construction activities
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete renovation and construction tasks
- Assist with the setup, maintenance, and cleanup of job sites
- Provide backup delivery services by safely transporting materials or Light equipment as required
- Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks to meet project needs
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related trades such as masonry, concrete finishing, or renovation is preferred, Mechanical knowledge including operation of heavy equipment and power tools or professional history pulling trailers is advantageous
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, welding, flooring installation, and restoration techniques is a plus
- Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a construction environment
- Experience with hand tools, concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work is desirable
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for backup delivery duties
This role requires a motivated individual capable of working both independently and as part of a team. Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
