Overview
Join our team as a Delivery Driver and become the vital link between our company and our valued customers! In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing exceptional service with a positive attitude.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of goods
- Inspect vehicles regularly for maintenance needs and perform basic automotive repairs when necessary to maintain optimal performance
- Verify delivery orders, complete delivery documentation accurately, and obtain signatures upon receipt
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle interior and exterior to uphold safety standards
Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Candidate must have 3 to 5 years of verifiable commercial driving experience with a D license truck in Ontario (will ask to provide)
- Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
