Banquet Server - Part-time (Seasonal)

We are looking for a Seasonal Part-time Banquet Server available a minimum of 2 days per week, preferably between Wednesday and Sunday. Flexibility availability throughout the day would be preferred. This will be a seasonal role from September 2026 - January 2027 during the upcoming holiday period. Candidates must be available to work for the full duration of the season.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Study the function sheet to determine the style of set-up required
- Set up function room as one large team and prepare as many details as possible prior to events
- Communicate with Kitchen Staff beforehand for menu details
- Greet Members and Guests
- Present the food in a confident and professional manner
- Pour water and wine glasses throughout meals, if ordered, and top-up if needed
- Maintain a clean dining area by clearing tables, collecting dirty dishes and returning them to the station/dishwasher
- Ensure room is kept neat and tidy throughout the entire function
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be energetic and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
- Must demonstrate a spirit of cooperation and flexibility
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Previous customer service experience/restaurant experience is preferred
- MUST be willing and able to serve alcoholic beverages
- Must have ‘Serving It Right’ Certification (can be obtained upon hiring)
