LD Filtration is currently seeking ambitious individuals to fill multiple open Warehouse Associate positions within its busy Edmonton distribution center.
Our ideal candidate is high-energy, enjoys being in constant motion and ready to tackle any task - this role will ensure you meet you 10,000-steps and more as we often process 1,000+ outbound orders per day, and receive 3-4 truckloads of inbound goods per week.
Warehouse associates are responsible for processing customer orders by reviewing order pick-tickets, navigating the warehouse to gather items by part number, package the goods in boxes or on pallets, and arrange shipping as directed on the pick-tickets.
For inbound freight, you will receive items by cross-checking packing slips to purchase order details, and navigating the warehouse to inventory items by forklift, pallet-jack and by hand.
Warehouse associates also assist couriers and truckers with shipments, as well as customer pick-ups in a courteous customer-service focused manner.
Our inventory warehouse utilizes shelving above 20-FT with access by rolling ladders. Candidates should possess the ability to climb, bend and repetitively lift over 50-LBS safely throughout an 8-hour shift.
Candidates should be functionally literate and able to process customer order pick-tickets which include alpha-numeric part numbers requiring a high-attention to detail.
