Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to warmly greet guests, manage reservations, and ensure that all visitors feel welcome and valued. Duties
- Greet guests as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times to guests.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with the restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, including taking reservations and answering questions.
- Support food service operations by assisting with table settings or clearing dishes as needed.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus for managing orders and payments.
- Ability to multitask in a busy restaurant environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in hotel or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
