Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for order processing, cash handling, and billing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; communicate needs for restocking promptly.
- Follow all food safety regulations related to food handling and alcohol service to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Jonas or similar platforms for order entry
- Knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts smoothly without compromising service quality.
- Understanding of food safety standards applicable to the food industry; certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a dynamic hospitality environment.
