7 Days Dental is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and patient-focused Dental Recall Coordinator to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and is passionate about helping patients maintain their oral health through effective recall and follow-up systems.
As the first point of contact for many of our patients, you will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional patient experiences while helping our practice maintain strong patient retention and schedule efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the patient recall and reactivation system.
- Contact patients due for hygiene appointments, examinations, and outstanding treatment.
- Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently.
- Follow up on missed appointments and overdue recall patients.
- Update and maintain accurate patient records within the practice management software.
- Assist with treatment plan follow-ups and patient communication.
- Work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to optimize scheduling and patient flow.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build positive patient relationships.
After-Hours Communication Requirement
This position requires flexibility and commitment to patient communication. The successful candidate must be willing and able to monitor and respond to incoming and outgoing patient calls, messages, and appointment-related communications outside regular business hours when required. Timely patient follow-up is an essential part of this role and contributes directly to the success of our practice.
Qualifications
- Previous dental office experience preferred.
- Experience with dental practice management software is an asset.
- Strong telephone communication and customer service skills.
