Azhadi Group | Kelowna, BC
Temporary Full-Time
Start Date: September 2026
Pay: $22-24/hourly
Every great bottle has a story. Harvest is where that story begins.
At Azhadi Vineyards, we’re looking for energetic, curious, hardworking people to join our cellar team for the 2026 harvest. If you don’t mind purple hands, early mornings, late nights, and the occasional sticky pair of boots, you’ll experience one of the most exciting seasons in the wine world—working alongside our Senior Winemaker to craft wines that will be enjoyed for years to come.
The Azhadi Group owns and operates a collection of premium wineries throughout the Okanagan Valley. We believe exceptional wines begin with exceptional people. Gratitude, curiosity, craftsmanship, and genuine hospitality guide everything we do, creating an environment where people are valued, challenged, and inspired to grow.
No two harvest days are the same, but you’ll be involved in every stage of the winemaking process, including:
- Receiving, weighing and processing grapes
- Sorting, crushing and pressing fruit
- Pump-overs and punch-downs
- Monitoring fermentations
- Barrel work including racking, topping, stirring and sulfuring
- Cleaning and sanitizing winery equipment
- Tank and press operations
- Cellar organization and winery sanitation
- Juice, must and wine additions
- Supporting the cellar team wherever needed throughout harvest
- Enjoy physical, hands-on work
- Thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- Have exceptional attention to detail
- Take pride in doing things the right way
- Bring a positive attitude—even during a 12-hour harvest shift
- Aren’t afraid to get a little dirty in pursuit of something extraordinary
While previous cellar experience or education in Oenology, Viticulture, Food Science, or a related field is an asset, enthusiasm, work ethic, and a willingness to learn are just as important.
You’ll also need to:
- Be able to safely work around winery equipment and production processes
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Operate (or be willing to learn) a forklift and skid steer
- Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during harvest
- Be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Have reliable transportation
Harvest isn’t just a job—it’s an experience.
You’ll work alongside passionate wine professionals, gain hands-on experience in premium winemaking, build lasting friendships, and become part of a team that celebrates hard work, craftsmanship, and great wine.
If you’re looking for a harvest you’ll remember long after the last grapes are picked, we’d love to hear from you.
