Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Gutter Installation Worker to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining gutters on residential and commercial buildings. Your expertise will help ensure proper water drainage, protect structures from water damage, and contribute to the overall quality of our projects. Duties
- Measure and mark gutter installation areas according to blueprints and schematics to ensure precise placement.
- Use hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, levels, and caulking guns to install gutters securely on various building types.
- Read and interpret construction schematics and blueprints to follow project specifications accurately.
- Cut, shape, and fit gutters using appropriate tools to match building dimensions and architectural details.
- Install downspouts, brackets, hangers, and other accessories to ensure proper water flow and stability.
- Seal joints with caulking or sealant to prevent leaks and ensure long-lasting performance.
- Conduct inspections during and after installation to verify quality standards are met; perform repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean work environment by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members including carpenters, plumbers, or restoration specialists when necessary for integrated building projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction or related trades is highly preferred; familiarity with roofing or siding installation is a plus.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, levels, and caulking guns with confidence.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices for outdoor work environments.
- Experience with blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, or working with detailed project plans is advantageous.
- Basic carpentry skills including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials precisely.
- Prior experience in gutter installation or related exterior building work is desirable but not mandatory—training will be provided for motivated learners.
