Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial trucks to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a good safety record, and experience with heavy equipment operation and automotive repair. Duties
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks to transport freight over short and long distances
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Load and unload freight using loader or other heavy equipment as needed
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle operability
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
Qualifications
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record (*Required)
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields
- Proficiency in loader operation and heavy equipment handling is preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently (Preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently, follow routes accurately, and adhere to schedules
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients

**Wage will be determined based on driving experience and performance.
