Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated Powersport Sales Advisor to join our showroom team. If you love powersports and talking to people, this is your chance to make $80,000 or more a year. You will be able to earn base wage or commission whichever is on the higher side and to the benefit of the employee.
Requirements:
- Greeting customers and offering assistance or direction to any customer who enters the Powersport dealership showroom or lot.
- Generate positive impressions during the shopping and buying experiences by serving customers in a friendly, professional, and prompt manner.
- Provides customers with complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
- Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival.
- Deliver Powersport vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle’s operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
- Performs other duties as required by the Sales Manager to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.
- Ensure customer car quotes are competitive and reasonable.
- Understands Polaris, Yamaha, Argo and other Powersport vehicle brands by learning key features & capabilities.
- Identify potential leads and actively pursue sales opportunities.
- Learn to overcome objections and thrive within sales situations.
Skills Recommended:
· Experience as a Sales Consultant within the Powersport industry will have added advantage.
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or training in Powersport sales and parts equipment sales.
· Ability to be creative and persuasive in negotiating.
· A valid Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract is required for this role.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal & written) and customer service skills.
· Exceptional sales skills and a commitment to sales objectives.
