About Us
BLT Construction, a trusted Canadian general contractor with 30+ years of experience, is hiring a Project Coordinator for our Vancouver team. You’ll support various projects in the Metro Vancouver area.
This role focuses on project execution, documentation, scheduling, and coordination. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and experience in construction project environments.
Responsibilities
- Plan and maintain project schedules to ensure milestones are met.
- Assist the Project Manager with all aspects of project coordination.
- Organize subcontractor start-up documentation with Contracts Administrator.
- Coordinate project mobilization requirements.
- Administer cost controls, including entering Purchase Orders and Change Orders.
- Maintain accurate project documentation in ProCore and the company’s systems.
- Assist with budget and cost reports, including processing invoices.
- Draft and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and track responses.
- Facilitate the submittal process and maintain an up-to-date submittal list.
- Produce accurate meeting minutes and distribute as required.
- Coordinate project close-out activities, including punch and deficiency lists.
- Oversee Health and Safety documentation onsite.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with teams, subcontractors, and clients.
- Understanding of construction schedules, milestones, and general contractor workflows.
- Experience managing project documentation, including close-out processes
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook), Sage/TimberScan, and Procore.
- Knowledge of construction site Health and Safety requirements
- Professional, team-oriented attitude with the ability to maintain a positive work environment.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
