Our niche manufacturing client servicing a global market, is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their team of accounting professionals in Corporate Headquarters.
About the role
Working collaboratively with teams across supply chain, production operations, finance and inventory, purchasing, sales and logistics your responsibilities would include but not be limited to:

Product Costing
-
Inventory Accounting
-
Month end close tasks and reporting activities

Process Improvement internal controls initiatives
-
Budgeting, Forecasting and variance analysis duties for COGS, labour, overhead and more
About the candidate

BComm, MBA, CPA or similar education
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive cost accounting experience in a consumer packaged goods industry

Strong understanding of inventory controls and reconciliations, cost and margin variances and cost accounting

Advanced Excel Skills and previous ERP experience is required
