Position Summary
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Shore Mechanic to join our team . This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and have a passion for maritime mechanical activities.
Suitable skills:
- Mechanical engine experience
- Electrical: DC/AC experience
- Fitter / welder: stick - mig, tig - aluminum, steel fabrication experience
- Small engine experienceInboard outboard experience
- Familiar with machinery and shop tools and safety.
Tasks could include (but are not limited to)
- Painting - vessels
- Clean up - Yard, dock, shop areas, storage areas.
- Assisting in vessel maintenance, tugs and water taxis
- Any projects that require a second set of hands.
Must be able to speak clear English with good comprehension. Company shore mechanics can show and teach skills as long as the person has the willingness to learn.
