We are currently seeking a full time Logistics Coordinator to join our team of skilled professionals at our High River, AB location.

This employee fulfills Shipping and Receiving duties for the Plant as well as maintaining the Warehouse, Dock and Facility.

Duties and responsibilities

Shipping and Receiving

  • Communicates with all Drivers on the dock and yard
  • Ensures Safety rules and protocols are followed by all Drivers
  • Creates, Prints and ensures Drivers sign Bill of Lading for all Shipments
  • Confirms Accuracy of all outbound loads
  • Maintains daily Schedule for all inbound and outbound traffic
  • Co-ordinates with the Order Center
  • Physical receiving of all Production, Plant and Maintenance materials
  • Maintains Dock cleanliness

Inventory

  • Completes weekly cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory
  • Completes Monthly Inventory counts to ensure accuracy of inventory
  • Completes weekly Raw material Inventory

Warehouse

  • Organize Raw materials and Finished products following FIFO standards
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness

Other Duties

  • Maintains a binder of current Role procedures
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Clerk to support plant administration needs as required
  • Cross-Trained as back up for QC testing
  • Cross-Trained as back up for Forklift Operator
  • Places Tarps on top of the load when required
  • Using Fall Protection, unroll and layout tarps over the load when required
  • Loads and unloads all deliveries and receiving for the plant
  • All other assigned duties

Qualifications

  • 5+ years Forklift experience with current forklift license
  • 5+ years Shipping and Receiving experience including Loading and Offloading
  • Ability to flex time as required
  • Pass the IKO test
  • Requires personal vehicle

Hours of Work

  • 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
  • All scheduled shipping days required by Corporate office
