Position: Rock Shop Associate
Reports To: Retail/Guest Experience Manager
Job Summary:
At Hard Rock, we're all about delivering amplified service, unforgettable experiences, and authentic vibes. As a Rock Shop Associate, you’ll be the face of the Rock Shop — where music meets merchandise. You'll provide high-energy, personalized service to guests while driving sales, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and repping the Hard Rock brand with pride.
Hours of Work: This is a part-time role with days and hours aligned to business needs, guest demand, and events.
Rock Shop Associate– Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet every guest with a rockstar attitude and create a memorable shopping experience.
- Assist guests in selecting merchandise, providing knowledgeable and enthusiastic service.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Promote the Sound of your Stay and UNITY program to all guests.
Inventory
- Replenish stock and ensure product availability on the floor.
- Assist with inventory counts and stockroom organization.
Hard Rock Brand Ambassador
- Educate guests about Hard Rock culture, history, and products.
- Act as a brand ambassador — on and off the sales floor.
- Work collaboratively with fellow band members and other departments to support overall guest satisfaction.
Health and Safety
- Follow all safety and security procedures and hotel policies.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising in line with brand standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic math and computer skills (POS systems experience is a plus).
- Passion for music, hospitality, and the Hard Rock brand.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
