Job Summary
Wendy's is seeking energetic and customer-focused Crew Members to join our team. As a vital part of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, preparing food according to company standards, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food service, cashiering, and team collaboration within a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate the Micros POS system for order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with sanitation protocols
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Assist in stocking supplies and restocking food items as needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at the end of shifts
- Support team members as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not mandatory
Pay: $18.25-$18.50 per hour
