Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, dependable and physically capable Yard Worker to join our Ukee crew. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading customer vehicles, and unloading materials from stock trucks, operating a fork lift, moving materials around the yard, and maintaining a safe and organized yard.
Duties
- Loading customer vehicles with building materials
- Unload stock trucks and put away as per instructions
- Operate a forklift
- Follow protocol with customer purchases
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the yard and store
- Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly to move materials or supplies as required
- Help with stocking shelves and inventory management both inside and outside
Requirements
- Willingness to work outside in all the types of westcoast weather
- Strong-bodied and the ability to perform tasks safely
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- A positive, 'can-do' attitude and willing to help out wherever is needed
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
