Totally Raw Pet Food is expanding again, and we find ourselves in need of a Full Time Maintenance Technician. Key Responsibilities:

Production Reliability: Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on industrial food processing equipment to maximize uptime.

System Controls: Manage and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring consistent operation and peak performance.

Facility Infrastructure: Oversee heating, cooling, and plumbing systems. Ensure all utility systems are operating at optimal efficiency.

Technical Documentation & Inventory: Maintain detailed equipment logs and inventory records for parts and supplies.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with management to develop maintenance budgets and implement long-term strategies for facility upgrades.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and industrial safety regulations (including LOTO procedures).
Required Qualifications:

Technical Education: Post-secondary trade certification (Mechanical, Electrical, Millwright, or equivalent).

Hands-on Expertise: Proven experience in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as HVAC and electrical controls.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical failures in a fast-paced environment.

Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to document maintenance history clearly.

Digital Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with modern digital maintenance tracking tools (Google Workspace/Gmail).

Organization: Ability to prioritize urgent production issues while managing ongoing preventative maintenance projects.
