We are looking for an experienced Red Seal Electrician to join our growing team.
We are looking for a dependable, skilled electrician with strong commercial and industrial experience who can work independently, troubleshoot problems, and complete work safely and efficiently.
This is a full-time, permanent position with steady work and opportunities to take on additional responsibility within the company.
Responsibilities
- Perform commercial and industrial electrical installations
- Install conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, controls, and electrical equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and schematics
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment
- Complete renovations, upgrades, and new construction electrical work
- Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, other trades, and subcontractors
- Identify electrical issues and recommend practical solutions
- Ensure work meets applicable electrical codes and project requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Travel to different project locations as required
Qualifications
- Red Seal Construction Electrician certification required
- Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage assigned work
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver's licence required
