Napanee Golf and Country Club is a seasonal Golf Course open from mid March to end of October weather permitting. We cater to both members and Green fee paying Guests and we also host numerous tournaments and social events. We offer fully serviced kitchen, bar and banquet facilities for up to 100 people, and we are open 7 days per week during the season.

We are looking for experienced Kitchen attendants who can execute all activities in the Kitchen / Bar area including some food prep and cooking, bartending, cleaning, placing food / beverage orders in accurate fashion, delivering food orders, maintain a clean safe environment following all health and safety directives, and providing excellent customer service.

Salary and renumeration will be commensurate on proven experience. Job requires a valid Smart Serve certificate and a Police Check.

Kitchen attendant Responsibilities:

-Take food orders, process beverage orders and enter all sales in POS system

-Preserve excellent levels of customer service

- Help stock and rotate food supplies as needed

-Identify customer needs and respond proactively to their needs and concerns

-Scheduling of shifts can include shifts in the clubhouse, on the beverage cart as needed, and for tournaments and special events

-Comply with all health and safety regulations

-Participate in the prep, cooking and serving of meals as required.

-Ability to learn and use as needed cash register, computer terminal, etc to ring in sales, place and receive food orders, make cash-outs for orders as needed

-Open and close facilities as required by schedule

-Complete all paperwork, money counting etc., for opening and closing policies on all shifts

-Perform ongoing duties / cleaning procedures as required

-On occasion help unload and unpack shipments of kitchen orders with package weights up to 20 kilograms

-Maintaining work and storage areas in a clean, safe sanitary manner

-Washing, cleaning and sorting dishes, cutlery, fixtures, and equipment used for food preparations and service

-Maintain kitchen / seating area cleanliness through each shift

-Pick up and return used dishes, cutlery to the kitchen for washing after customer use

-Some light manual labour and janitorial duties such as cleaning the kitchen equipment, washing floors, cleaning washrooms, and vacuuming is required

-Operating and cleaning food equipment, furniture and maintaining dining area

-Fill ice machine and exterior pop and juice machines as required

-Work shifts can include weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays

-All other duties as assigned


-Proven food and beverage serving experience

-Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS office, POS)

-Guest oriented and service minded

-Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be a team player

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $14.00 to $15.00 /hour
