Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and restorations with precision and care
- Utilize advanced dental technology such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design) systems to create restorations and prosthetics
- Manage pediatric patients with gentle, compassionate care tailored to children’s needs, including behavioral management strategies
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic
- Communicate treatment plans clearly to patients, explaining procedures and medical terminology in an understandable manner
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations
- Stay current with industry standards by participating in continuing education and training on the latest dental techniques and tools
Experience
- Proven experience as a practicing dentist with a strong background in general dentistry
- Familiarity with dental office software such as Dentrix or Epic for scheduling, charting, and billing purposes
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate diagnosis and documentation
- Hands-on experience with CAD technology for designing dental restorations is a plus
- Prior experience in a busy dental office environment demonstrating excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
