Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our dental laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating dental prosthetics other dental appliances with precision and craftsmanship. Candidates with experience in CAD design, laboratory procedures, or dental assisting are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Fabricate dental partials dentures, and other appliances based on detailed specifications and patient requirements
- Utilize CAD software for designing dental restorations when applicable
- Prepare models, wax-ups, and molds with precision to ensure accurate fit and function
- Operate laboratory equipment such as casting machines, polishing tools, and finishing devices
- Collaborate with dentists and dental staff to interpret prescriptions and technical drawings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace in compliance with safety standards
- Ensure all finished products meet quality control standards before delivery or fitting
- Keep detailed records of production processes and materials used
Experience
- Previous laboratory experience in a dental setting is preferred
- Familiarity with CAD software used in dental restoration design is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is advantageous
- Experience working with dental office staff or assisting in a clinical setting is desirable
- Laboratory experience involving the fabrication of dental appliances or prosthetics is highly valued
- Dental assisting background can provide useful insight into clinical workflows but is not mandatory
