Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Hand/Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Cook and serve dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Handle food safely, adhering to hygiene and sanitation regulations
- Support kitchen staff in cleaning, organizing, and maintaining kitchen equipment and work areas
- Manage food handling procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Assist in serving meals to customers or staff as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Experience in food handling, meal preparation, and serving is advantageous
- A passion for the food industry with a willingness to learn and grow within the role
Pay: $17.20-$27.52 per hour
