Forum Law LLP is a general practice law firm in west Edmonton who prides itself in providing high quality legal services. We are seeking a lawyer for our litigation department with 3 to 5 years' experience to join our firm.

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in litigation, commercial and corporate matters.
- Draft and review legal documents, contracts, agreements, pleadings, and other legal correspondence.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with colleagues and legal professionals to develop effective legal strategies and solutions.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of issues pertaining to Alberta laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, records, and documentation.
- Stay informed about changes in legislation, legal trends, and precedents relevant to Alberta jurisdiction.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing personalized attention and exceptional service.
- Uphold ethical standards and professional integrity in all aspects of practice.
Requirements:
- Degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Law Society of Alberta as a practicing lawyer in good standing.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience practicing law, with a focus on in civil litigation, commercial and corporate matters.
- Strong knowledge of Alberta laws, regulations, and court procedures.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client advocacy.
