Responsibilities
- Perform customized massage therapy sessions based on client needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or therapeutic massage.
- Assess client conditions and develop tailored treatment plans to maximize health benefits.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
- Educate clients on self-care routines and post-treatment recommendations to enhance ongoing wellness.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in compliance with health regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and provide exceptional customer service throughout each session.
- Stay current with industry best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- Valid registration and licensure as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and wellness.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatments and address client questions or concerns.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a friendly, professional manner.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude within a team environment.
- Prior experience in massage therapy or related healthcare fields is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
