Position Overview
Under the supervision of the general manager, the Director of Janitorial Services is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and quality control of janitorial operations. This role requires strong administrative skills, leadership abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee employee management and performance follow-up
· Manage travel requests for staff
· Maintain and monitor inventory levels
· Oversee asset management
· Lead special projects and prepare related reports
· Ensure quality control across all sites
· Develop procedures and ensure proper implementation and follow-up
· Receive, manage, and follow up on client requests
· Verify and approve employee timesheets
· Plan and manage special projects
Qualifications
· Computer literate
· Fluent in French and English
· Strong organizational and leadership skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities
· Valid driver's licence required
· Experience in janitorial services or facility management is an asset
· Experience working in northern or remote communities is an advantage
