Automotive Technician / Journeyman Mechanic
We are seeking an experienced and certified Automotive Technician / Journeyman Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a wide variety of automotive vehicles. - Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and diagnostic testing to accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and performance-related issues.
- Recommend appropriate repair solutions and communicate findings clearly and professionally.
- Repair and replace worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components and systems.
- Service and maintain brakes, engines, steering, suspension, and electrical systems.
- Conduct road tests to verify repairs and ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Complete preventative maintenance services according to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with a supportive, team-oriented group.
- Maintain high-quality workmanship while working efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Automotive Technician Certification required.
- 10 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
