Role Description

In this bilingual role you will be responsible for handling the Sales and Service of Group Commissions. This includes analyzing information received, maintenance, auditing of Sales & Service Commission arrangements, ensuring agreements are set up and handled properly, for automation as well as manual handling, as well as resolving all issues through Group Sales Offices, other internal GWL departments or directly with clients and advisors.

Accountabilities:
Responsible for Sales and Service maintenance as required in the processing of Group commissions for Head Office, Administrative Services Only and Self Accounting clients for both manually paid policies and on the commission system.
Accurate and timely processing of Amendments.
Investigate and resolve commission related inquiries from the Group Sales Offices and Advisors that need immediate attention

Qualifications and Competencies:
Bilingual fluency (English & French) is required
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle pressures of deadlines, fluctuating workloads, and changing priorities
Strong mathematical and problem solving abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work independently as well as within a team, contributing to the team's success
Solid computer skills using Excel, Word, Access, Outlook and Mainframe
Knowledge of Group Insurance is an asset
Ability to excel within a Purpose/Vision driven environment
