Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Static Security Guard to uphold safety and security at our facility. In this role, you will serve as the first line of defense, monitoring premises, controlling access points, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Your proactive presence will help prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized entry while maintaining a safe atmosphere through diligent surveillance and incident response. Responsibilities
- Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure authorized entry.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility’s interior and exterior areas to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations to ensure accurate record-keeping for security audits.
- Enforce company policies related to loss prevention by observing and reporting suspicious behaviors or theft attempts.
- Assist with safety procedures such as checking fire exits, inspecting surveillance equipment, and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience or background in law enforcement, security services, or related fields is preferred.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail for identifying potential threats or irregularities.
- Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and coordinating with emergency responders when necessary.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security best practices is advantageous.
- Own vehicle is required.

Pay: $17.60-$17.90 per hour
