Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for guests. In addition to serving food and beverages, the Server should be comfortable preparing basic drinks when required and supporting bar service during busy periods.
A valid Smart Serve certification is required for this role. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and energetic environment where your hospitality and teamwork skills can shine.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages when required
- Maintain a clean and organized service and bar area
- Ensure compliance with Smart Serve regulations and responsible alcohol service
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and check in with guests throughout their visit
- Handle payments and cash transactions accurately
- Assist with restocking bar and service supplies as needed
- Support team members to maintain smooth and efficient service during busy periods
Experience
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred
- Valid Smart Serve certification required
- Basic knowledge of preparing common cocktails and beverages
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in fast-paced environments
- Basic math skills for handling payments and transactions
