Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support the dental team, and ensure smooth clinical operations. Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all dental equipment is functioning properly.
- Take dental radiographs (CAD experience preferred).
- Provide patient education on oral health, post-treatment care, and preventive practices.
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Epic and Dentrix.
- Support administrative tasks as needed, including checking in patients as a dental receptionist.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
- Assist with the fabrication of dental appliances or models when necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with knowledge of dental assisting procedures.
- Familiarity with dental software .
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry practices.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Ability to operate CAD systems for dental modeling or imaging tasks.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification or licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant is required.
