Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality beverages to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Operate the POS system to process customer orders accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks and pastries
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines while handling and serving food items
- Assist in restocking inventory and monitoring supply levels
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow during peak hours
Experience:
- Previous experience in cashiering or using POS systems is preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a helpful attitude towards customers
- Basic math proficiency for handling transactions accurately
- Familiarity with food preparation, service, and handling procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
