We are seeking a dynamic, skilled professionals to join our talented and growing team at our Downtown locations!

What You'll Do:
- Deliver excellent customer service; initiate dialogue and develop rapport with guests by learning their names, favorite drinks, and food items such as pastries; engage guests in conversation.
- Accurately and efficiently take customer orders, including special requests and modifications.
- Grow the customer base, upsell products, inform customers of new products/promotions, and maintain a positive public image.
- Address inquiries and resolve or escalate issues and complaints.
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines and grinders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
- Assist with stocking and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Follow health and safety regulations, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Perform opening and closing duties.
- Order all inventory and showcase products for the store, reaching sales targets while reducing waste.
- Provide scheduling feedback and notes on store opening/closing times to improve sales.
- Assist in planning and executing sales promotions and maintaining a positive community/public image.
- Create a weekly schedule according to labor guidelines, considering fluctuations in sales due to holidays or local events.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Previous barista or similar customer service experience preferred.
- Sociable and outgoing; enjoys conversing with people.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to sell/upsell products.
- Passionate for food & pastries.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures.
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs, and stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Current Food Handlers Certificate (or willing to obtain).

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
