Retail Associate (Part-Time – Weekends Required)
Position Summary
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized store, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. Weekend availability is required.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a warm, welcoming, and professional manner
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to enhance the customer experience
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
- Restock shelves, rotate products, and maintain attractive displays
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-presented at all times
- Monitor product quality, dates, and inventory levels
- Support receiving and stocking of deliveries as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism
- Follow all store policies, procedures, and food safety standards (if applicable)
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Retail or customer service experience is an asset but not required
Availability Requirements
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday)
- Flexibility for additional shifts (holidays or peak seasons) is an asset
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25–40 lbs
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks such as stocking and cleaning
