Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Baseball Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in baseball, along with experience teaching youth and skills to maintain equipment and training facility. This position requires a commitment to fostering a positive, safe and competitive environment while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth among athletes. Coaches prepare and train individual athletes.
Duties
- Develop well planned ciriculum, schedules and programs
- Perform clerical duties, such as maintain player statistics
- Plan and execute engaging baseball & softball practices that focus on skill improvement, teamwork, and strategic understanding of the game
- Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
- Teach fundamental baseball techniques such as batting, pitching, fielding, and base running to players of varying skill levels
- Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions
- Participate in coaching clinic instruction
- Analyze and evaluate athletes' performance
- Assemble mechanical equipment, maintain training facility
- Carry out management duties·
- Foster a positive environment
Skills
- Proven experience in coaching baseball at youth or amateur levels
- Proven experience teaching children
- Strong knowledge of baseball rules, techniques, and strategies
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Demonstrated commitment to player safety and fostering a positive sporting environment
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44.0 per week
Work Location: In person
