Panel Upgrade Experts is a growing Calgary-based electrical contractor specializing in residential panel upgrades, service upgrades, EV chargers, troubleshooting, and solar installations.
We are looking for a skilled Residential Journeyman Electrician to join our team and help lead our residential electrical and solar projects.
We are specifically looking for an electrician with strong residential experience. This is not a large commercial construction position. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in customers' homes, communicating directly with homeowners, troubleshooting residential electrical systems, and taking pride in providing an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Be Doing
- Residential panel upgrades and service upgrades
- EV charger installations
- Residential troubleshooting and service work
- Solar installations and commissioning
- Leading and mentoring solar installers and apprentices
- Working directly with homeowners
- Ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
What We're Looking For
- Red Seal Journeyman Electrician
- Strong residential electrical experience is required
- Experience with panel upgrades, service upgrades, troubleshooting, and customer-facing service work is highly preferred
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record
- Comfortable working at heights and on roofs using proper safety equipment
- Leadership experience is an asset
Bonus Qualifications
- Solar experience
- Service van experience
- Fall protection certification
- Previous roofing or working-at-heights experience
